Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul water utility Corsan has called three tenders valued at a total 8.35mn reais (US$5.19mn) for maintenance work throughout the southern state.
The selected contractors will perform work such as removing and resurfacing pavement, repairing storm conduits, earthworks and masonry work, among others.
Budgeted at 3.1mn reais, the first tender involves work in the municipalities of Santa Cruz do Sul, Rio Pardo, Pântano Grande, Venâncio Aires, Barros Cassal, Boqueirão do Leão, Lagoão and Mariante.
Proposals should be submitted on September 9, according to a Corsan procurement notice.
The second tender, set at 2.82mn reais, contemplates similar maintenance work in the city of Camaquã and 22 other municipalities.
