Chilean water utility Esval, serving region V, has designated Rodrigo Azócar as its new general manager.
Azócar, the former head of state oil company Enap, will take over starting October 3, according to an Esval release. He replaces interim general manager Francisco Ottone, who took over for Gustavo González in January this year.
Azócar will also serve as manager of utility Aguas del Valle, serving region IV. Esval controls 99% of the company.
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plans (OTTP) owns 94.2% of Esval.
