Argentina's government is spending 13mn pesos (US$3.1mn) on sanitation projects in Santa Fe province's Granadero Baigorria municipality, the planning ministry said in a release.
Work will be carried out by waterworks promotion and financing agency Enohsa and includes building a 4mn-peso wastewater pumping station to serve neighborhoods San Fernando and Los Robles.
The project also involves the first phase of work to build sewerage pipelines in San Fernando and Los Robles, budgeted at 4.89mn pesos, and a 4.45mn-peso project to build sewerage pipelines in Paraíso and Los Naranjos.
The projects will bring sanitation coverage in the aforementioned towns to 100%, the release said.
