Guadalupe to spend US$5.6mn on water projects

Mexican town Guadalupe in Zacatecas state will invest 60mn pesos (US$5.61mn) to build a stormwater drainage and sanitation system and expand its potable water network, local press reported.

The new system will avoid flooding and damage to local roads, mayor Rafael Flores was reported as saying.

Works will conclude within 178 days.
