The government of northwest Argentine province Jujuy has again pushed back the date to submit offers for a tender to repair and upgrade the Los Molinos dike and Río Grande canal, located in the province's San Salvador de Jujuy district.
Interested parties must now submit offers by March 28, according to an IDB project document.
An official budget of 76.2mn pesos (US$19.2mn) has been established for the project, which will be partly covered by an IDB loan.
The process is open to companies from all IDB member countries.
The project, which is due to take two years to complete, involves work on a fixed dike, a mobile dike, a water level regulation canal, and the Río Grande canal and its complementary infrastructure.
The local government originally set a February 16 deadline to submit bids, which was then changed to March 17.
