Project Details

Description

The project involves the studies, design, construction, supply, installation and the electromechanic commissioning of the system. The system will comprise two lines reaching a maximum height of 261m, using monocable gondola detachable (MGD) cable cars. Capacity is expected to reach 3,600 passengers per hour. The cable system will be integrated into Phase 4 of the integrated public transport system (SITP) in Bogota. The system will have four stations: Estación Portal Tunal (linking to Transmilenio's BRT), Estación Barrio Juan Pablo II, Estación Barrio Manitas/Villa Gloria, Estación Barrio Mirador de Quiba/Paraíso (the return station).
