Project Details

The New Illia highway is designed to improve traffic flow and reduce travel times between downtown and the north of the city. Most vehicles traveling between these areas take Libertador Avenue, causing congestion. It will also improve access to Av. General Paz and the port. The highway will have three or four lanes in each direction, depending on the stretch.
