Description

The Zapallal-Trujillo transmission line will have at least 600MW capacity and stretch some 519km. Colombia's ISA group was awarded a 30-year concession to build and operate the line, which seeks to increase the country's power capacity, guarantee greater security to the electricity network, improve transmission quality, and lower the risk and cost of electricity shortages. Construction of the line is due to take 30 months.
