Acerías Paz del Río is a Colombian steelmaker engaged in the exploration, development, transformation, transportation and distribution of minerals and raw materials required by the steel industry, and the production of steel products. The company's plant is located in Belencito, in central Boyacá department. The firm has a 14% stake in the local steel market and produces 30% of the country's steel. Acerías Paz del Río was founded in 1948 and is owned by Brazilian Votorantim Siderurgia since 2007.
