Cerro Colorado Prod. Up 15% this Year

Toronto-based #Rio Algom#'s (TSE: ROM) Cerro Colorado mine in northern Chile will produce 115,000t of copper this year, 15% up on 1999, Estrategia (Chile) reported, quoting the mine's marketing VP Francisco Costabal. London-based mineral house #Billiton# (LSE: BLT) bought out Rio Algom last month.
