In Argentina, Shell announced a reduction of US$0.01 per liter in local gasoline and diesel prices for its V-Power and Super gasoline varieties, as well as its Pura Diesel and Formula Diesel varieties. Regular gasoline and diesel prices for wholesale contracts will remain untouched. The new prices will be set at: V-Power US$1.18/liter; Super US$1.08; Pura Diesel and Formula Diesel US$0.53; and regular diesel US$0.50. In Venezuela, state oil company PDVSA president Hector Ciavaldini said there will be no rise in local fuel prices through year-end. Gasoline in Venezuela costs 80 bolivars (US$0.12) per liter.
