Tollroad operator CCR suffers income drop

Brazilian tollroad operator CCR's net income dropped 14% year-on-year to 346mn reais (US$142mn) in the third quarter.

Net revenue for the three-month period totaled 1.5bn reais, up 6%, the firm said in a results report.

Gross tollroad revenue grew 4.2% to 1.47bn reais and accounted for 92% of CCR's total third quarter revenue.

Cost of services increased 41% in the quarter to 1.08bn reais.

CCR is Brazil's largest road concession operator in terms of revenue. The firm currently operates eight highway concessions: Ponte, NovaDutra, ViaLagos, RodoNorte, AutoBan, ViaOeste, RodoAnel and SPVias.
