IN BRIEF: Brazil mining minister to leave Rousseff's 2nd term cabinet
Brazil's mining and energy minister Edison Lobão will not remain in the cabinet of re-elected Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
"Rousseff's second term asks for a renewed government, including a different choice for the ministry," Lobão was quoted as saying by Bloomberg.
Lobão's name has reportedly come up in connection with a corruption scandal involving Petrobras. The country's federal police launched an investigation into the matter, prompted by documents seized from the oil giant's former director, Paulo Roberto Costa, which contained statements on the money laundering scandal known as Operation Car Wash.
