The EBY joint venture that operates hydroelectric dam Yacyretá (pictured) on the Argentina-Paraguay border reported that the complex generated 1,861GWh in October, up 8% year-on-year.

EBY attributed increased output to more units online following repairs and greater water flow, which increased 16.4% to 14,341m3/second. The complex produced a record 1,875GWh in January.
