Buenos Aires, June 9, 2022 - Logicalis, a global information and communications technology solutions and services company, posted revenue growth of 16% in Latin America in fiscal year 2022, which ended on February 28, this year.
The Latin American operation continues to be the most important of the Logicalis Group, and represents 32% of global revenues, with emphasis on Brazil and the NoLA (Northern Latin America) region, which includes Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Puerto Rico. "Even in a challenging scenario, marked by the shortage of components around the world, we had growth in our revenues, reinforcing our capacity for innovation, resilience and adaptation," says Rodrigo Parreira, CEO of Logicalis for Latin America.
Brazil accounted for more than 60% of Latin America's revenues, which represents a 22% increase in net revenues. “The solutions that we call Digital Accelerators (which involve cloud, security and data analysis and IoT) were the ones that grew the most in the period. The advancement of these offers is fully aligned with Logicalis' positioning as one of the main drivers of digital transformation in the region”, Parreira highlighted.
The NoLA region also stood out, with a 62% growth in sales and a 46% progression in net income compared to the previous fiscal year. As for the SoLA region (comprising Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay), the highlight was the year-on-year sales expansion of 39%, heavily based on managed technology services contracts.
The period was also marked by important changes in the structure, aimed at further reinforcing the focus on the client. In practice, the traditional division between sales and delivery has given way to a highly collaborative team, capable of strengthening strategic and permanent relationships with our clients.
With the changes, the company now has a matrix and integrated architecture, with strategic verticals capable of meeting the specific demands of each industry, as well as horizontal structures responsible for the portfolio of business solutions, such as Hybrid Cloud, Data & Analytics, IoT, Security, Consulting and Managed Services. "This evolution in our organizational model reinforces our commitment to customer success in the face of the challenges of digital transformation and allows us to be even more prepared to face future demands," Parreira concluded.
