Mexico planning new maritime control tower for Tuxpan port

The administration of Tuxpan port in Mexico's Veracruz state is seeking to award a contract to conduct environmental studies for the construction of a new maritime traffic control tower by the end of September.

Bids from the four invited participants can be received on September 23 and a winner will be announced on September 28, according to the tender call, published on public procurement site Compranet.

“The term of execution of the works will be 30 calendar days, and the date for the beginning of the works will be October 5, 2022. Works should be concluded on November 3, 2022” the tender notice reads.

The firms invited to the restricted contest are Yahutanaka, Construcciones y Desarrollos de Hidalgo CODAH, Yahaps Vladimir Pérez Núñez and Ángel Juárez Medina. However, none of them showed up during the visit to the construction site scheduled by the port administration for September 12.
