Peru power legislation: Electromobility, free clients

Peruvian political group Bloque Magisterial de Concertación Nacional, established by former members of the ruling Perú Libre party, introduced an electromobility bill to congress.
The proposal aims to establish a regulatory framework to promote the industrialization, commercialization and use of electric vehicles.
The articles in the initiative include tasking the energy and mines ministry with drafting a national electromobility strategy, and others that cover charging infrastructure and incentives, such as tax breaks.
Similar legislation was submitted in recent weeks.
For its part, opposition party Fuerza Popular reintroduced a power portability bill to support micro, small and mid-sized companies (MIPYMEs in Spanish).
The proposal, a previous version of which did not move beyond committee level, would lower the cap for MIPYMEs to be able to choose between free or regulated user to 50kW from 200kW in a bid to access cheaper electricity.
The electromobility bill is available here and the portability bill at this link.
