Savegre hydro studies underway

A hydro planned for the upper Savegre river basin in Costa Rica along with the 650MW El Diquís hydro project are vital to help cover demand in 2021, according to José Rodrigo Rojas, from state power company ICE's environmental planning unit. Studies are underway to determine the feasibility of the 160MW project, which would require 560ha, local paper La Nación quoted Rojas as saying.
