In particular, the E15 axis connects the provinces of Esmeraldas, Manabí and Santa Elena, supporting constant and constantly growing traffic, especially heavy transport. Currently, the corridor has two lanes and the tread layer is in regular condition. This corridor includes the cantons of Sucre, San Vicente, Jama and Pedernales. The road facilitates the connection between the coastal provinces of Esmeraldas, Manabí and Santa Elena. This project will directly benefit 174,834 people, indirectly 1,592,840 inhabitants and indirectly 21,937 people. The corridor is part of the “Strategic Mobility Plan PEM 2013-2037” and is estimated to generate 10,968 jobs.
