The plant will have a 2x2x1 configuration, consisting of two gas turbines, two heat recovery steam generators and a steam turbine operating in a combined cycle. he project includes all the necessary equipment to integrate a combined cycle: electric generators, main transformers and underground links with the existing conventional 400 kV Substation (Interconnection Point). The project will use natural gas as fuel, with an estimated consumption of 145.7 million cubic feet per day. The project will have a 36-month period for the site preparation and construction stages. The Presidente Adolfo Lopez Mateos Combined Cycle Power Plant Project (CCC PALM Phase I) will be located inside the Presidente Adolfo López Mateos Thermoelectric Complex (CT PALM), property owned by the CFE, which is located in the Municipality of Tuxpan de Rodríguez Cano, Veracruz state.
