Initial details of the project contemplate that the line runs parallel to the Pan-American highway and has stations and a fourth bridge over the Panama Canal. It is anticipated that Line 3 of the metro will transfer up to 20,000 users in one direction at peak times (in phase 1). The operation will be divided into two circuits: East Circuit: starting from Albrook to Nuevo Chorrillo (17.5km) Complete circuit: Albrook to Ciudad del Futuro (26.7km) This line will benefit more than 500,000 inhabitants of West Panama.
