The plant will be a Reverse Osmosis Treatment Plant (PTOI) and its associated works are divided into three categories: maritime, land and ancillary. The maritime works include the collection of seawater, the installation of a seawater lifting plant (PEAM), the discharge of brine and the corresponding pipes for the delivery and discharge of water. The land works include the infrastructure necessary for the electrical supply of the PEAM and the construction of the (PTOI), as well as the infrastructure required for the elevation and treatment of water to its connection point. The operation will vary from a minimum flow of 125 l/s of seawater collection, producing 50 l/s of water to be made drinkable and 75 l/s of rejection to the sea, to a maximum flow of 500 l/s (of collection of seawater) with 200 [l/s] of desalinated water to be made drinkable and 300 l/s of rejection to the sea. The useful life of the plant is indefinite.
