Mexico's Mining Regulation Authority, DGRM, operates under the Economy ministry and is tasked with promoting the development of the country's mining sector by boosting investment and competition. Its goals include proposing policies and programs, promoting mining exploration, supporting small- and middle-sized mining initiatives, and providing reliable and up-to-date information on the domestic mining industry. The DGDM is responsible for maintaining a digital portfolio of mining projects, which provides geological and mining data on mining projects and is aimed at promoting these projects to investors. Its head office are based in Mexico City.
