The platform will be responsible for Libra's extended well tests, which have been delayed due to an incident during the installation of a subsea umbilical last July.

The pre-salt field's definitive system is scheduled to start operations in 2020.

Sæther also said the charter contract of the Teekay-operated Cidade de Rio das Ostras FPSO with Petrobras has not been extended.

"We are now planning for the redelivery of the unit at the end of the original contract term in January 2018."
