Pemex tenders platforms and onshore infrastructure
Pemex Exploración y Producción put out to tender two contracts. The first tender is for the installation of two shallow water platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, and the second for the construction of onshore infrastructure.
One of the two platforms will be located in the Xanab field offshore in the Sureste basin. The Xanab field produced 141,000b/d of crude in March 2018 and 108Mf3/d of associated natural gas.
The construction of the second platform, Futura, was tendered together with another PP-Kuil-C tender in 2018 for a combined 1.49bn pesos (US$75mn). That tender was won by Mexican service company Grupo R.
