Description:

Fénix Power Perú is the owner and operator of the Fénix thermoelectric plant located in the district of Chilca, in Peru's Lima department. The facility includes two natural gas-fueled combustion turbines, a steam turbine, and two heat recovery boilers to produce 520MW. Fénix Power Perú was a subsidiary of US firm AEI, until Dicember 2015 when was purchased by Colbun through a consortium composed by Blue Bolt A 2015 Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), and the Peruvian Investment Infrastructure Fund managed by Sigma Peru. Colbun owns 51% of Fenix Power Peru, and acts as the controlling and operating partner, whilst ADIA owns 36% and Sigma 13%.
