Ministry Calls for New Compesa Treatment Stations

Brazil's Pernambuco state Public Ministry is calling on Pernambuco state sanitation company Compesa to offer new septic tank waste treatment stations in state capital Recife because the city's only treatment station - Estacao de Tratamento de Esgotos do Janga - is difficult to access by septic tank waste companies, Jornal do Commercio (Brazil) reported. Many companies illegally dump the waste into open air dumps because of Janga's remote location, according to companies.
