Secretary Proposes Creating DF SustDev Cabinet

Mexico's Federal District (DF) environment secretary Aaron Mastache has proposed creating a sustainable development cabinet that would reform the DF's environmental policies, Reforma (Mexico) reported. Mastache was speaking at a plenary session of the DF's legislative assembly (ALDF). Localities Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla and Morelos should also be included in the development of common environmental policies and the creation of a metropolitan authority that would be responsible for the country's central region, Mastache said.
