Advances in Tren Maya reinstallation of high tension electrical towers

On the Mayan Train, the reinstallation of high-voltage electricity pylons is advancing, as well as the construction of the bridge to cross the Chacamax River and a viaduct in Champotón, in addition to tests to assemble high-tech equipment to guarantee the Vibration and pressure support before the movement of the train.

In section 3 , Calkiní-Izamal, the adaptation of the towers, near the Tahdzibichén police station, in Mérida, Yucatán, responds to the elevation generated by the track platform. In section 4, from Izamal to Cancún, the rail welding continues for the railway in the vicinity of the Tinum municipality, in Yucatán. So far, there has been progress of more than 35 kilometers in welding and reinforcing the double-track rail, which will later be mounted on the sleepers.

Also in this section, in the warehouse of equipment and materials for railway stations and systems, installed in Ucú, Yucatán, drilling and fixing tests are carried out on a provisional track.
