Agreement between CNE and Bandesal will promote projects for SMEs

BANDESAL and the National Energy Council (CNE) signed a cooperation agreement with which energy projects will be promoted to continue supporting the undertakings promoted by SMEs.
With this signature, it will be possible to carry out plans and programs aimed at improving legal and regulatory conditions that promote public and private investment opportunities in the energy sector.
"This day we formalized with BANDESAL the agreement for the execution of projects that seek to guarantee energy savings and this will be possible through financing," explained the executive secretary of CNE, Salvador Handal.
During the activity, the digital micro-site, energy efficiency financing line for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), was launched by the Development Bank of El Salvador (BANDESAL), with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Green Fund for the Climate.
