(Please note that this is a machine translation of the original release, issued in Spanish)
Within the framework of the energy transition process of the National Electric System, the National Energy Commission (CNE) invites all interested parties to participate in the bidding process of the "Study for the survey of methodologies, regulatory requirements and metrics to evaluate the efficient levels of inertia and short-circuit power for the National Electric System”.
The purpose of the study is to provide the regulator with a survey of the methodologies, metrics or good practices used in the world to evaluate the levels of inertia and power of short circuits per bar in electrical systems, with the purpose of analyzing which one is best suited to the technical needs of the National Electric System.
The study is expected to provide tools for an upcoming regulatory procedure and possible modifications to the Complementary Services Definition Report that, regardless of the segment for which they are developed, promote competition, economic efficiency and safety, as well as grant the Electricity Coordinator National the means to preserve the principles of the coordination of the operation established in article 72°-1 of the General Law of Electric Services.
The closing date for receipt of offers is Wednesday, November 23 at 4:00 p.m. and for more information you can go to the public market platform and search for tender 610-38-LE22 or enter the following link :
