The contract is for the 97.2MW Trairí wind farm in Brazil's northeastern state of Ceará.

Alstom said it had partnered with energy services firm Freyssinet to facilitate installation by using hydraulic lifting techniques.

The units will be built at Alstom's plant in Bahia state and are due to be delivered by mid-2016.
