Argentina's Pampa to invest in 115MW thermo expansion

Argentina's Pampa Energía will invest 750mn pesos (US$88.3mn) in expansion works at the Loma La Lata thermo complex in Neuquén province.

The company will add a 100MW high-efficiency gas turbine and two motors with a combined capacity of 15MW, according to a filing with securities regulator CNV.

The expansion will bring the plant's total installed capacity to approximately 652MW, the filing said. Currently, the plant consists of three gas turbines and a Siemens steam turbine.
