
Ministry of Energy and Mines will begin field visits as part of the Intracampos II Round

As part of the process corresponding to the XIII Intracampos II Oil Round, the Ministry of Energy and Mines has prepared a schedule focused on making visits and guided tours to see the facilities near the blocks: Lumbaqui, Saywa, Tamya, Tete Sur, VHR Este and VHR Oeste, which will be tendered in this Round.
The technical tours are aimed at investors interested in the development of the six blocks, located in the northern part of the Ecuadorian Amazon. The primary objective is the verification in situ, of the existing land road system, secondary pipeline facilities, type of crude oil and survey systems. As well as possible future inspection points for oil.
The planned schedule includes an agenda of activities comprised of two visits:
– The first, from Monday, February 6 to Thursday, February 9, 2023.
– The second, from Monday, February 27 to Thursday, March 2, 2023.
For the first scheduled visit, the operators, companies or consortiums interested in participating must send an email by Tuesday, January 31, 2023, specifying the staff that will attend the tours. The reception channel for this requirement is: rondaintracampos2@energiayminas.gob.ec . For participation in the second visit, the email may be sent until Friday, February 17 of the current year.
The “XIII Intracampos II Oil Round” is currently in the Phase of purchase of participation rights and download of the Data Pack; In addition, the company rating platform is enabled at the following link: https://siscolhpro.rondaspetrolerasecuador.gob.ec .
This process foresees an investment of approximately USD 2,100 million for the exploration and operation stages of the blocks that are awarded.
The National Government promotes transparent processes with the purpose of attracting economic resources that strengthen the execution of public works and the development of social programs for the benefit of Ecuadorians.
