Petrobras seeks cloud-based software for internal training

Brazil’s national oil company Petrobras is procuring licenses for a cloud-based software aimed at applying online tests for employees, as well as support and training for selected personnel, according to information on the company’s procurement platform Petronect.
Petrobras applies these tests for different purposes, including training of newly hired employees and of those changing areas, and ongoing qualification in general for some 35,000 employees.
“The target audience involves, potentially, all Petrobras employees who participate in Training and Development (T&D) processes, in addition to professionals who work directly in the process, such as inspectors and instructors,” the company said in the tender documents.
Petrobras is intending to apply up to 65,000 tests via the new platform and estimates 1,000 users may use it simultaneously.
The solution must enable the registration of applicants, questions and tests, and the authentication of those taking them, including capturing photos for identification or access authorization.
It must also operate in a secure browser, enable the recording of the applicants' computer screen and video, and provide timely access to results and analysis, among other requirements.
According to Petrobras, the service provision period is 36 months and includes training on platform usage and technical support in Portuguese.
Details on this tender, including technical requirements, can be found at Petronect under reference number (“opportunity”) 7003980733.
Proposals were initially expected to be submitted until December 29, but the deadline has been extended to January 5.
