The telecommunications and cloud services integrator Sencinet has just announced that it has surpassed the mark of 900 partnerships with regional Internet providers (ISPs) in Latin America. In the second half of 2021, the company launched a program to approach and attract companies in this segment with the aim of expanding the distribution of products such as SD-WAN. The agreements established, mainly in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina, offer these companies the opportunity to increase their earnings by providing services to companies of all sizes, in addition to the traditional focus on end users.

Sencinet was created in October 2020 as a result of the acquisition of the domestic Latin American operations of British Telecom (BT) by the CIH Group.

The person in charge of ISP accreditation at Senciet, Thiago Leite comments that the collaboration offered by Senciet allows ISPs to add to their service portfolios the robust structure that large and medium-sized companies need when they are looking for partners to set up outside the large centers . According to him, as they rely on Sencinet's support, these local ISPs can now count in their customer portfolios with leading brands in segments such as retail, for example, always looking to install stores in as many national territories as possible, in the same way that companies in the financial sector have the need for service dispersed in branches in as many locations as possible.

“In addition to ensuring connection stability and redundancy, local ISPs are able to enable solutions such as SD-WAN, which is one of the strongest trends to connect cloud applications and corporate networks”, he adds.

After showing interest in the partnership, the ISPs go through an approval process with Sencinet in which structural aspects and commercial issues are verified. Once approved, they are included in a list of partners able to nominate and be nominated by Sencinet to serve the market. Interested parties can contact the company's website:

“We believe in the power of ISPs to help us in our objective of democratizing and disseminating secure and robust connections for companies of all segments and of all sizes, from the most urban places to the most remote areas of our continent. Therefore, our objective is to exponentially expand this network of partners, surpassing the thousand ISPs mark as soon as possible”, he says.
