Andes Energia said in its interim results that based on data analysis and the company's strategy to prioritize low risk projects amid the oil price slump, management decided to relinquish Paraguay license Itapua.

The move leaves the junior operator with one license in the country, known as Repatriacion, according to Andes.

Less than two weeks after Ecuador's state E&P operator Petroamazonas began producing oil at block 43, home to fields Ishpingo, Tambococha and Tiputini (ITT), wells from the Tiputini C platform have proved to be some of the company's top producers.

ITT was the company's eighth largest producing asset on September 18 with 22,651b/d while Shushufindi led output with 86,006b/d, according to Petroamazonas, whose production that day was 449,947b/d or around 80% of the country's total crude output.

Bolivia's state hydrocarbons company YPFB extended to October 11 the deadline to submit bids to increase capacity at fuel storage plants in three departments in a first phase.

YPFB has set a reference price of 134mn bolivianos (US$20mn) for the Santa Cruz plant, 87.2mn bolivianos for Senkata and 84mn bolivianos for Oruro.
