Description: The Falcon-Matamoros project calls for the construction of a potable water pipeline running from the Falcon reservoir on the US border to Matamoros city, Tamaulipas state. The pipeline aims to solve the critical water shortage in Tamaulipas, which has one of the lowest levels of water per resident in Mexico. The Falcon-Matamoros pipeline will transport potable water from the border with the United States to the Mexican cities of Guerrero, Mier, Miguel Aleman, Camargo, Diaz Ordaz, Reynosa, Rio Bravo, Valle Hermoso and Matamoros, Tamaulipas state, Mexico.
