The project involves building a 30km long, 12m-wide highway with two 3.5m lanes and 2.5m shoulders. The plan's central objective is to connect the Guadalajara-Tepic highway at the town of San Cayetano to the Tepic-Crucero de San Blas highway junction near the village of Trapichillo. Construction includes the erection of two junctions and one overpass. The project is expected to take a total of 24 months to complete.
