Guanaco Solar project update

Description: The project consists of updating the Guanaco Solar project, which corresponds to a photovoltaic park with its corresponding electric transmission line and which has a favorable Environmental Qualification Resolution, RCA No. 193/2014. This RCA was withdrawn because the works did not start before the stipulated period. The project will be located in the Diego de Almagro commune, Chañaral Province, Atacama Region, on a net land area of 219.04 ha. This update implies an increase in net power of 27MWn due to technological changes. The project contemplates three alternatives for connection to the National Electric System, SEN: Alternative 1: Through a transmission line of 110 kV voltage and 0.26 km in length that will allow connecting by means of the sectioning or derivation in Tap Off of the first circuit of the 110 kV transmission line that goes from the Diego Substation from Almagro to the Tire Substation. Alternative 2: Through a transmission line of 110 kV voltage and 2.7 km in length that will allow connecting by sectioning or bypass in Tap Off of the second circuit of the 110 kV transmission line that goes from the Diego de Almagro to the Tire Substation. Alternative 3: Through a 110 kV transmission line with a voltage of 11.77 km in length that will allow connection at the Diego Almagro Substation.
