The project is made up of the following areas: The Antapaccay Exploitation Zone, where mineral extraction and crushing activities are carried out; and the Tintaya Processing Zone, where the mineral processing activities are carried out to obtain copper concentrates as well as the disposal of the tailings generated in the process. Both zones make up the current U.M. Antapaccay Expansión Tintaya. Modifications in these areas will be carried out to give continuity to current operations. The Coroccohuayco Exploitation Zone, located approximately 12km southeast of the Tintaya Processing Zone. In this future zone, it is proposed to carry out the extraction of mineral for its subsequent processing in the existing concentrator plants in the Tintaya Processing Zone. The project is located in the municipality and province of Espinar, approximately 170km from Arequipa. The project is located at an approximate altitude of 4,150 meters above sea level.
