The bridge will consist of 5 spans of 100, 200, 100, 57.75 and 57.75 meters respectively, and has a construction period of 428 calendar days (1 year 3 months). The project is part of the construction works for Section 3 of the Mexico Toluca Interurban Train, a sector that stretches 17km between the Observatory station, in the downtown area of Mexico City, and the commercial district of Santa Fe, on the outskirts of Mexico City. the capital. The work was not originally contemplated in the design of the rail link, but was later added by the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
