Description: Modification of Collector Layout 8 ECA-Madrugada Gas Pipelines This Project proposes moving a section of approximately 359 meters of the 8-inch Arenal Collector, approved by RCA No. 079/2011, which transports hydrocarbons. This section runs between the Arenal Compressor Station (ECA) and the Madrugada Nudo, in the Primavera district. It should be noted that this modification (displacement) of the route does not change the approved extension of the Collector, equivalent to 43 km of pipeline. Additionally, the Project considers incorporating the installation of one (1) new compressor with a Caterpillar Model G3606 1,775 BHP engine attached to an Ariel 2-cylinder, double-effect, one-stage compressor, inside the Arenal Compressor Station (ECA). In this context, it is relevant to expose to the evaluating authority as a precedent that the displacement of the route of the collector described above, derives from a requirement of the Directorate of Roads of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), for the execution of the Route Y Improvement project -65, Manantiales-Porvenir, located in the Primavera and Porvenir Communes, Tierra del Fuego Province, Magallanes Region and Chilean Antarctica, carried out by means of Ordinary Official Letter N ° 376/2016 of the National Highway Directorate of the MOP. The project aims to modify the route in a section of the Arenal Collector, equivalent to 359 meters, in order to adjust to the requirements of the Ministry of Public Works on the paving of Route Y-65, together with the installation of a new compressor inside the Arenal Compressor Station (ECA), which will allow the exploitation of the Arenal field down to a lower stage pressure, increasing the reserves of the field and prolonging the productive horizon.
