Description: OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY OF THE TAMBO DE ORO MINING SITE Mining development projects over 5,000 tons/month The Project contemplates extending the useful life of the current site by 7 years and 2 additional months, that is, until December 2028, the period in which Underground mine exploitation will increase by a maximum annual average of 15,317 t/month, the foregoing, without modifying the environmentally authorized mineral processing rate. Thus, the works that are planned to be built or modified are the following: • Extension of the development of the underground mine, which will extend from elevation ‑290 to -478 and up to elevation +275. A variant of the Bench and Fill (B&F) exploitation method is included in the sector called "Luisa vein" of the Underground Mine, called Cut and Fill (C&F). With the above, the extraction rate will increase, which will vary as an annual average between 12,225 t/month (year 2028) and 15,317 t/month (year 2025), keeping the processing rate at 22,500 t/month, therefore Purchases from third parties are proportionally reduced in those months in which extraction exceeds 15,000 tons/month. • Expansion of the existing Waste Dump, increasing the area approved for this work, in order to deposit an additional 716,667 m3. • Expansion of the existing Tailings Deposit, increasing the area approved for this work, in order to deposit an additional 751,801 m3, derived from mineral processing during the extension of its useful life. • Modification of diversion works. Piping of the existing contour channel and construction of a new stormwater contour channel associated with the expansion of the tailings deposit and upstream of it. The contour channel will be approximately 390 m long, with dimensions of 1 m basal width, 1.75 m depth and 4.5 m surface width. • Relocation of existing facilities within the site, due to the expansion of the tailings dump. These are: witness library, roman, hazardous waste warehouse (RESPEL), contractor work facilities and the shotcrete plant. • Expansion of the existing concentrate warehouse in the beneficiation plant area. The rest of the existing works and/or facilities in the work area will continue to be used under the previously approved terms, so that they will prolong their useful life and will only be subject to maintenance when required. The objective is to give operational continuity to the mineral exploitation and treatment process at the Mining Site for an additional seven years to what was approved by RCA No. 82/2017 and RE No. 20200410133/2020 and, therefore, to all facilities and processes that operate in Tambo de Oro. To this end, the average mineral extraction rate will be increased from 15,000 t/month to a maximum annual average of 15,317 t/month (year 2025). In this sense, the processing capacity of the plant is not modified, maintaining it at 22,500 t/month, an amount that was approved in RCA No. 17/2013, for which the purchase of mineral from third parties will be reduced variably. 7,500 t/month environmentally approved.
