The new bid opening date has been set for October 11.

Originally, when the tender was launched in April, the date was set for May 23, but it has now been postponed six times.

The section that is being tendered entails a 3.1km central corridor section of the trunk system, which runs between the streets Tte. César Díaz Pefaur and Luis Alberto de Herrera (see map below).

The bidding documents can be found on the public procurement website using the ID number 330852.

Two other sections of the corridor are already under construction. Awarded to Mota-Engil, this contract entails 11.4km between San Lorenzo and the port of Asunción.
