Caribbean Plan 2018 begins in Cartagena and Valledupar
Press release from Superservices
In the Torices, Pie del Cerro, Espinal, Lo Amador, Nariño, Loma Fresca, Pablo VI-I, Paraíso II and República del Caribe neighborhoods, the Superintendence of Residential Public Services (Superservicios) begins this Tuesday, May 15, the Plan Choque Caribe (PCC) in the capital of the department of Bolívar and in Valledupar, through which it seeks to solve the main needs and concerns of the inhabitants of the seven departments of the Caribbean coast, as opposed to the provision of electric power services, aqueduct, sewerage, toilet and fuel gas.
The Plan Choque seeks to redouble the efforts that Superservicios has made to tend the requirements that users of public services have on the Caribbean coast. It will be held in Cartagena during the months of May, June and July, and 49,500 properties will be visited to find out what are the main claims of users in terms of billing, consumption, unjustified cuts and delay in the reconnection of the service, among others.
Cartagena is the fourth capital city of the Caribbean coast where the Plan Choque Caribe will be advanced, after Barranquilla, Montería and Sincelejo, cities where nearly 100,000 properties were visited in more than three hundred neighborhoods. The visits in the capital of the department of Bolivar will be made by personnel of the Superservicios, who will be duly identified to attend all the requirements of the users.
In Valledupar, 21,400 properties will be visited and visits will be made between May 15 and June 13. Before starting the collection of information, socialization activities will be carried out with community leaders, control members, electric power companies, aqueducts, sewers, toilets and fuel gas.
