Peru's private investment promotion agency ProInversión issued a call to provide technical advisory services for power projects led by the energy and mines ministry. Offers for the 18-month contract are due August 12.
In a resolution, the energy and mines ministry authorized Unión Andina de Cementos to transfer the definitive concession for the planned 12.8MW Carpapata III hydro to Generación Eléctrica Atocongo.
The US$18mn plant is scheduled to come online in the second half of 2016, according to ministry information.
