Hydrocarbon dock of the Callao Port Terminal is ready to receive ships of up to 35 thousand tons

The National Port Authority (APN), an entity attached to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), signed, on April 15, the Act of Reception of the work: Rehabilitation of Pier 7 of the North Multipurpose Terminal of the Callao Port Terminal, along to the APM Terminals Callao dealer.

The reception of this work of rehabilitation of the liquid loading dock - Pier 7 of the TP Callao leaves the concessionaire authorized to start operations 100%, recovering its capacity to service ships of up to 35,000 DWT, having an infrastructure in the best conditions, ensuring the efficient provision of the hydrocarbon discharge service in Lima and Callao.

The execution and port infrastructure activities, which required an investment of more than 31 million soles (S / 31'182,300 with IGV), include preliminary works at Pier 11; mobilization of teams; demolitions, repair of the substructure; repair of the super structure; metal railings; screen wall cuts concrete fire; dock equipment; buildings; fire protection system; electric system; demobilization of teams; among other improvements.

These modernization works, which will stimulate the movement of hydrocarbon cargo in the TP Callao, are part of the complementary investments made by the concessionaire in the North Multipurpose Terminal of the port of Callao.

The Peruvian State, through the MTC and the APN, with the participation of the private company, continues the work to guarantee operations at all levels in the National Port System (SPN), in order to continue promoting the competitiveness of the country's ports. , even in the midst of the state of emergency that exists in the country and globally.
