More turbine and generator components arrive for the machining of Aña Cuá
This EBY release was published using machine translation.
This Monday, June 5, a convoy of 12 large trucks entered the construction zone, loaded with electromechanical components for the future Generating Units of the Aña Cuá Project.
Lot includes: Unit AC01 Generator Rotor Hub Assembly; the Turbine Internal Covers, the Thrust Bearing support and the brake tracks of the generators of the three units.
The trucks from Brazil transported the parts that were manufactured by the company Voith Hydro Ltda., a firm that is in charge of supplying the three turbines and generators (AC01, AC02 and AC03), in addition to the necessary peripheral equipment and electromechanical systems. for power generation.
The work is carried out within the framework of the YE-AMPLYA Contract, for the machining of the spillway of the Yacyretá Hydroelectric.
The three generating groups of the project, whose nominal power is 100 MW each, will allow the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy, making it possible to take advantage of the force of the ecological flow of 1500 m3/s of water that until now is discharged directly. from the Yacyretá Reservoir to the Aña Cuá Branch.
