Aguas Andinas, Chile's biggest water utility, reported that its third quarter net income fell 4.2% year-on-year.
Andinas, a unit of Spain's Aguas de Barcelona, posted earnings of 17.2bn pesos (US$28.1mn) compared with 18bn pesos in 3Q13.
Revenue grew 7.8% over the period to 95.8bn pesos on an increase in sales volume and a hike in tariffs.
Drinking water sales increased 9.7% in the quarter to 34.8bn pesos and the firm's sewage division posted a revenue increase of 7.7%.
Most of capital Santiago is served by Aguas Andinas.
